Stonefields Estate, Carleton Place - Cait + Will
On a beautiful late September day, I had the privilege of documenting Will and Cait tie the knot at the gorgeous Stonefields Estate venue in Carleton Place. These two are the absolute kindest of people and it truly showed how much they were adored by all their family and friends.
I first started my day by capturing Cait getting ready at her lovely home, surrounded by her bridesmaids, daughter Ellie, and her mom. From there we drove out to Stonefields where the finishing touches and detail shots would truly kick off the start to the big day. I had the joy of having Danielle as my second shooter that day and she was able to capture some awesome shots of Will and his gang getting ready, as well as the cutest first look between Ellie and Will — a heart melter for sure.
The chapel on the Stonefields property is honestly stunning. From the bright natural light that shines in, to the delicate details curated to make the place shine, this was by for one of the most beautiful buildings I had the enjoyment of documenting a ceremony in. The grounds surrounding the chapel and reception barn are pristine and offer ample opportunities for photography worthy moments.
Cait and Will were so fun to work with. They were able to crack up jokes with me, jive with my sarcasm, and I have to give a massive shout out to their adorable daughter Ellie for being an Allstar. She managed to rock the whole day on no naps at the ripe age of two and be in the best of spirits all day. She stole the show multiple times and I’m sure as you go through this highlight gallery, you can see why.
The staff at Stonefields was incredibly kind and the food was too DIE for.
Please enjoy the chic jumpsuit Cait changed into for the reception and the super fun images we were able to capture with flash after speeches had finished. We love a creative bride that jams with experimental shots!!!
