Sam + Tyler - Cancun Destination Wedding

Last year I received an instagram message asking if I travelled for weddings. I normally don’t respond to DM’s because quite honestly, it’s overwhelming and chaotic. However, when you have a potential opportunity to get on a plane a travel to a destination you’ve never been to, ya jump on it!

Sam and Tyler, along with their 25+ group of family and friends, all flew down to Cancun Mexico to get married at the Planet Hollywood Resort. A beautiful resort if I do say so myself!

— Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful. From the perfect weather, to the stunning space used for their reception, to the authentic Mexican food and Mariachi band, it was just such a fun day to celebrate their love. Some of my favourite moments of this wedding included; Sam's bridesmaid and partner making/surprising her with pumpkin spiced lates to drink while getting ready, Sam and Tyler meeting a couple celebrating their one year anniversary (they got married at Planet Hollywood too), AND the wicked dance party this group threw down after dinner… SO much fun!

It truly felt like such a treat getting to document their wedding day all while also enjoying a vacation ahead of a super busy wedding season for 2022!

I really hope that since travel has opened back up to most people, that this will encourage more couples to dive into a destination wedding or elopement. You know where to find me if you’re infested ;)
